Thrilled to be included in this Cape Cod Times article so early on in the process. Great way to end the year!

Thank you to Cape Media News for allowing me to get past my fear of being in front of a "camera" and featuring the EPCP! https://youtu.be/-sxyIQeir8M
We have set up a GoFundMe page to help with the program. Please donate if you can, or help us spread the word so we can ensure the program is a succcess! https://gofund.me/251df5cc
We have also added a few other fun ways to donate to the Program which are listed in the How Can I Donate section.
Thank you to the kind people who have reached out about the program so far, and those who have signed up to assist! Thank you to the generous individuals and a special Foundation that reached out to donate. We are working on making direct donations happen, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can sign up to donate directly to a Partner service if you like. Donations are critical, so please contact me for more information!
Thank you to the MSPCA for signing up to assist us with veterinary care!
Thank you to PETiculars in South Yarmouth for their very generous offer to participate in the Program!
Thank you to Falmouth Service Center's Pet Food Pantry for offering their services. Please reach out to them if YOU are in need, you do not have to be a resident of Falmouth!
Thank you to the Kobe Henro Pet Food Bank, which is off-Cape, for their generous offer of a large amount of dry and wet pet food to be given out at no charge to the Cape's homeless and transitional residents. We will be working together to make this happen, so please let me know if your clients are in need and I will be happy to deliver the food to you.
And thank you the wonderful national organization for reaching out. If all goes well, hopefully they will be a part of assisting EPCP with emergency veterinary care and on-site wellness clinics. We just need a veterinarian or two to sign up for this as well, so please tell your vet about it and send them our way for more information, please!
2/2021 -We have decided to offer payment assistance for owners and pets that complete the Canine Good Citizen training and Certification. We feel this is an important part of the process and will hopefully make it easier in the search to find housing. It will also ensure that owners and their pets have the best life together as possible!
The program does still needs a few dedicated veterinarians, so if you know of any please send them my way. And a few Program trainers and groomers are needed as well!
3/2021 - The EPCP is thrilled to be part of a national program called the Program for Pet Health Equity. It is to assist those who are having difficulties accessing and paying for veterinary care for their best friends by not only helping to pay, but also mentoring the owner(s) in many ways. Families struggling to access veterinary care is a national crisis, made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic. Not being able to get veterinary care negatively affects family health and wellbeing. Lack of veterinary care threatens public health due to inadequate prevention and control of zoonotic diseases.
We are looking for vets, shelters/rescues, social service organizations and others to join us on a Zoom call in the next month or so to learn more about what we can do to help them here on the Cape. If you know of anyone who may be interested, please send them my way.
And the EPCP continues to work on other ways to help our people and pet friends in need on the Cape while we wait for our first client to come to us!!
8/2021 -We hope everyone has been enjoying the summer and staying safe. Unfortunately, Cora and I lost Henry the cat last week due to very old age. He will be missed. The EPCP Program has been contacted for assistance several times as of late, and we are assuming with the impending eviction moratorium happening soon, we will have more requests. We wanted to reach out to ask that if you are still interested in fostering to please let us know so that we can be prepared and know who to reach out to. As well, we have set up a GoFundMe page for anyone who may be able to donate to this important Cape Cod program. https://gofund.me/b5b61ca3 If you are able to share this information with others, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much!
9/2021 - Hello friends, family and animal lovers everywhere...
EPCP at Evie's Place set up a GoFundMe page a while ago (https://gofund.me/b5b61ca3), but decided that it is better to get something when you give (other than that good feeling) so, we are now participating in three fun, fundraising programs which we hope you and all of your friends will help us out with.
We REALLY, REALLY need your support to make the EPCP Program a success so that it can assist people and their pets in need, and what better way to do so than through food and fun things, especially with the holidays coming!
Cora says thank you in between her naps, and please SHARE as well!
