For those involved with a non-profit rescue that is not considered a shelter and had a valid status. For example: this may be a group made up of volunteers and founded by one individual, or a group of people who are working together to make a difference. etc.

For those individuals who are not involved directly with a shelter or rescue, but who devote their time to helping rescue and place animals. They can also serve a specific purpose within the field. For example: a national or international 401(C) organization such as CAPS. Individuals who are not part of an organization must be in accordinance with proper animal welfare standards.

For those who are interested in volunteering their time, services and anything else to their local animal welfare causes! Are you a veterinarian, contractor, or just like to walk dogs? Do you have something to donate? Volunteers are what makes this cause work so go ahead and pitch in!
